Dance Instruction for individual to large groups & workshops
Shannon & Bill are known for teaching a variety of 20th century social dances from the early 1900s-1960s fad dances and more. For over two decades, Shannon partnered with internationally known dance historian Lance Bensihek and learned from original-era swing dancers and performers.
Shannon & Bill and their dancers offer expert instruction and exciting performances in popular social dances and a variety of specialty dances from the 20th Century.
They work with individuals to large groups, dance workshops, corporate events, non-profit organizations, dancers of all ages, experience, and even offer chair dancing to help people of all ages and levels mobility stay active, and engaged with community.
Whether you're taking your first dance steps, or delving into rare vintage dances, Shannon & Bill are here to guide you every step of the way.

Monthly live music dance night at the Eagles #34 showcasing the best in area and regional swing dance friendly bands in a variety of genres - from Traditional Jazz, Hot Club, Western Swing, to Rockabilly. Miss Shannon's Sock Hops are for dancers and music lovers alike. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, attire ranges from casual to vintage inspired. Either way, there is always place on the dance floor for you.
No pre-registration needed. No dance experience, dance partner or special attire necessary.

Miss Shannon's Sock Hop Performances
Miss Shannon's Sock Hop Performances will take you and your audience on an interactive whirlwind tour of 20th Century social dances from the United States. From the Ragtime Era to Rock & Roll. They are fully customizable to highlight a particular era or genre of dance, and the level of audience engagement from performance only to all numbers are interactive. They are family friendly and can be tailored for 2 performers to an ensemble.
