Shannon & Bill are founders & hosts of Swing Dance Wednesday Night Twin Cities -The Twin Cities longest running weekly swing dance featuring live music and a dance lesson. Join us at the Eagles #34 for a night of entertainment starting with our dance lesson to welcome new dancers followed by live music from a carefully curated line-up of local, regional and national dance-friendly bands.

More About Swing Dance Wednesday Night Twin Cities
Swing Dance Wednesdays began in 2005 when musician and Lee's booking agent, Greg Huff asked us to bring swing dancing back to the iconic Lee's Liquor Lounge on Wednesday nights. Later Bill and I began booking the swing bands, and for 14 years we hosted our weekly dance night at Lee's until its closing in 2019. Since then, the Eagles #34 has been home to Swing Dance Wednesday Night Twin Cities.
We feature live dance-friendly music in a variety of genres including traditional jazz, hot club, jump, blues, big band swing, 1950s rock& roll, honky-tonk, western swing and more.
Among the bands in rotation are (alphabetical order): The Bad Companions, Charmin Michelle, Honky-Tonk Jump, Kinda Fonda Wanda, Lena & the LoveKills, Miss Myra and the Moonshiners, Mississippi Hot Club, The Modern Sovrans, The Monday Club, Patty & The Buttons, Pick-A-Rib Three, The Riverside Swing Band, Southside Aces, Stoop Rooster, Tinglers, Twin Cities Hot Club, Vic Volare and more.
Over the years, we have welcomed bands including:
Big Sandy and His Fly Rite Boys, Deke Dickerson, Dale Watson, The Ranch Girls, The Mezcal Brothers, Lazy Ike & the Daredevils, Davina & the Vagabonds, Ross Kleiner & The Thrill, Stockcar Named Desire, Johnny Boyd, Grand Marquis, JP Cyr and the Midnightmen, The Reckless Ones, Rosie and the Rivets, Steve Clarke & the Working Stiffs, The Tinglers, Twistin’ Tarantulas, The Vibro Champs and so many more.
